Hand Painted Narrow Ceramic Cylinder Sconce in Simply Birch

There is nothing more natural and stunning than white birch. "I always find myself admiring the intricacies of the little ink-like lines atop smudges that even the best charcoal artist would admit its brilliant placement and perfection," says Janna. Here's the chance to bring nature indoors for that up close and personal connection. Hand painted with careful attention to detail the way mother nature would have it (we studied many birch bark samples!), we love our Simply Birch!

A simple narrow open top and bottom cylinder ceramic wall sconce makes it the perfect choice to add plenty of wall washed light to any general living space, restroom, fireplace walls or narrow hallways. We hand cast & meticulously glaze or texture each of our ceramic wall sconces. Sconces are hand cast, individually painted, signed, dated & hallmarked.

Mounting hole for the electrical box is half way up from the bottom of the sconce.

Direct wiring requirement:

Sconces are made for mounting on an electrical box within the wall. If you have a wall fixture already in place, you can remove it and mount a sconce. If mounting in a new location, a new electrical box can be installed. A wall switch for on/off/dimmer control is recommended.
