This ceramic sconce tells a story of Janna's inspiration: wispy native botanicals, intriguing nightscapes, architectural details, modern pattern, gestural landscapes set in a rich and timeless palette. Straight from our studio archives, individually hand painted by the Janna Ugone studio from approximately 1990-2005, this classic is the last of its kind.
Hemi-spherical shaped ceramic wall sconce. This form functions beautifully in all spaces. Hand cast and meticulously glazed in studio.The collectible sconce is signed and dated and each comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by Janna.
Please know that since these were real production samples from as early as the 1990s, some may have small brushstrokes inside the piece that add to its character and history.
** Direct wiring requirements: Sconces are made for mounting on an electrical box within the wall. If you have a wall fixture already in place, you can remove it and mount the new wall sconce. In a new location, have a new electrical box installed with a wall switch for on/off/dimmer functions by a qualified electrician.
