A limited release from the coveted hand painted Originals Collection by Janna Ugone & Co. This luminous lamp features an original oiled parchment shade that tells a story of Janna's inspiration: wispy native botanicals, intriguing nightscapes, architectural details, modern pattern, gestural landscapes set in a rich and timeless palette. Straight from our studio archives, individually hand painted by the Janna Ugone studio from approximately 1990-2005, this classic is the last of its kind.
Medium Hexagonal shaded reading lamp in Leaf Portrait Gate in Redwood. These hearty six sided shades were meticulously hand painted for a full 360 degree view of alternating Janna's original illustrations of gates alternating with unique botanical portrait panels.Hand cast, ceramic base in ivory glaze. This was a limited edition prototype designed by Janna. Accented with a sculpted, satin finished pewter finial. The collectible shade is signed and dated. Each lamp comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by Janna. Please know that since these were real production samples from as early as the 1990s, some may have slight yellowing and/or small brushstrokes inside the shade that add to its character and history.
